Two weeks ago I had to strain to use dumb bells more than 10 pounds.
Now I can use 30 no problem. :D
Did a mile on the elliptical machine in about 12 minutes. Burned 123 calories! I was distracted by the TV, it was playing a movie trivia game show and I was mentally occupying myself with answering the questions…Tags: #journal #workouts
Check out my calves! I don’t think I’ve ever had these before, even through marching band. Success!Tags: #workouts #journal
Ran a mile today, hooray! It was painful though, getting used to the Vibrams, cramping hardcore in my stomach. I had the great idea of eating rice and kimchi with hot pepper paste right before we ran. Never doing that again. I think we finally decided on a route that’s exactly a mile long. Now all I gotta do is improve the time and just keep in shape.
Afterwards we went to a nearby apartment complex’s gym and did I’d say 35-45 minutes of more working out. I can’t remember what I did exactly, but I used the leg press, that one cable thingy you wrap around your leg and kick back, that one thing you push to work out pects, the one thing you pull to work out arms, like 20 push ups, a few core workouts with leg raises and mason twists, and we did dead lifts together. It was satisfying, knowing Abe’s got my back when I’m too negative or self doubting.
I’ll be more specific in what exactly we do next time. Maybe there will be pictures….Tags: #workouts
Today’s workout was a little less intense. I wanted to try a different route in the neighborhood instead of overlapping a route. Turns out it was actually shorter than I thought! Oh well, I’ll eventually find a well paved path for myself.
50 bicycles (25 on each side)
50 Mason twists (25 on each side)
30 second plank
10 push ups
It’s pretty clear where my priorities are! Need these flabby abs in shape by the start of summer!Tags: #workouts
